Paintings

This was my first and last try at watercolor.
You know those fancy bags people get instead of wrapping presents? Well, that's where this picture came from and it disappeared in to thin air just a day or so after I started painting this. If the bag is ever found, this *might* get done.
Everyone thinks (or maybe it's just me) that watercolors are soooo easy ... they Aren't!

This card was for a friend of mine. It's painted with opaque and metallic acrylics. Metallics are shy when around the scanner, so you can't really tell, but golds are hiding in there. The way the golds showed up looked interesting and so it's posted here. Clicky here for a very big pic.
